My interest lies in the environment's depiction of time through layers of growth and decay, and how this can serve as a visual metaphor for our own internal worlds.  
 
Utilizing the landscape to inspire my most recent body of work and my practice as a whole, I inform my visual library by traveling to diverse locations to seek out the new. Often finding overlaps to her previous experiences, I photograph discarded and decaying nature as well as flotsam and jetsam from my many waterside journeys. My exploration of water considers its constant movement, how it can smooth out a jagged stone, destroying or providing life, all while sustaining a rich ecosystem beneath the surface, inspiring the sublime as well as fear.
